Location

Considered as “one of Britain’s most vibrant and cosmopolitan cities” Nottingham is located in the East Midlands in the heart of England, less than two hours from London by train. The city boasts a large and diverse student population that is integral to the city itself. In addition to its impressive history and famous legends, Nottingham is a culturally diverse and vibrant city ideally suited towards student life.

The city's excellent transport links make it the ideal location from which to explore. Local, regional, national and international travel couldn't be easier from here. Furthermore, due to its variety of public transport and cycle routes, Nottingham has been named as the least car dependent city in the UK.

There are flights to an exciting range of national and international destinations from East Midlands Airport, one of the UK’s fastest growing airports. A number of budget airlines run services from East Midlands, which is only 40 minutes from Nottingham city centre on the 24 hour Skylink bus service.
