The course: Produces trainees who are reflective scientist-practitioners capable of working within a range of health and social care settings and in diverse social and cultural contexts; is also responsive to the ongoing development and redesign of professional roles within health and social care services, thus increasing emphasis is placed on preparing trainees to work within multi-professional/multi-agency contexts, working psychologically within teams and taking on leadership roles; trainees are full-time employees of Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust and registered postgraduate students of Cardiff University; this qualification confers eligibility for Chartered Clinical Psychologist status with the BPS.

Location

Cardiff is located on the coast of South Wales, which has beautiful national parks and beaches only 30 minutes away. Cardiff is approximately 230km (145 miles) west of London and is easily accessed by train in about 2 hours.
