Hospitality provides a balance of academic and practical subjects; topics covered include management and marketing, food and beverage theory, accommodation management and anthropology; culinary arts combines classical cooking techniques with technology and training; includes demonstration classes and hands-on practical sessions in purpose-built kitchens, regular guest-demonstrations and table-service training, wine courses and a look at the anthropology of food; in addition to practical training, students study aspects of world cuisine, the history of food and the diversity of culinary arts.
