Accounting considers the concepts, methods, techniques and behavioural aspects employed in financial and management accounting; reflects the up-to-date, complex and challenging nature of accounting and the business environment; professional exemptions may be available depending on the modules chosen; accounting is offered as a minor, joint or major subject; geography covers spatial aspects of the complex interrelationships between human beings and their environment; provides an understanding of both physical processes and socio-cultural systems and their roles in environmental change; students have a wide choice of modules enabling specialisation in the physical, human or development aspects of geography; geographical data handling and research methods; field work involving local and residential courses.
