Course focuses on the knowledge and understanding of contemporary music in the form of composition; students will undertake a range of relevant projects designed to prepare for professional work, and will complete sessions engaging a range of music/arts-based technologies; course will provide students with interfaces to create and review work, and additionally offer opportunities to meet other artists in choreography, theatre and live art through performances, films and installations; students focus on the procedures, techniques and questions that inform contemporary writing, with considerable emphasis on those stimulated by cross-arts working and new technologies.
