The course encompasses the study and investigation of surveillance, crime scenes, computer crime, financial and benefit fraud, causes of fire, determination of poisons, and drug misusage; using case studies and scenarios, students develop skills associated with the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of evidence; the flexibility of the course allows students the option to focus their studies, for example in either forensic investigation or forensic computing; students apply essential elements of science, computing, law, psychology, criminology, and the use of photography and video, drawing on staff expertise from across these disciplines. You will also use the excellent photography and video, computing and scientific laboratories at the university.
