Start your educational journey at Cambridge Ruskin International College (CRIC) in a seamless pathway course and benefit from guaranteed entry into an Anglia Ruskin degree following the successful completion of an undergraduate  pathway programme.

An undergraduate pathway is a single course comprising of three or four stages of study. When you successfully complete the pathway you will be awarded a Bachelor’s (Hons) degree from Anglia Ruskin University.

An undergraduate pathway is available for students who:

  • don’t meet the entry requirements to enter university level study directly
  • feel that additional support at the start of university studies will help them stand a better chance of success
  • have been away from studies for a period of time
  • come from a different academic environment to that of the UK
  • require additional English language training

If you fall into any of the above categories, choosing an undergraduate pathway at CRIC is the right decision. Depending on your academic needs there are two pathway entry points available, foundation and first year.

First Year Degree

The First Year Degree is Stage 2 of the undergraduate pathway. You may qualify to go directly into Stage 2, depending on your qualifications. You will experience the first-year curriculum of an Anglia Ruskin University degree plus extra academic contact hours. The teaching and learning experience will enable you to fully develop your knowledge and understanding of each module to prepare you for Stage 3 (the second year of your chosen degree) and Stage 4 (the final year of your degree).

Location

Main campuses are located in Cambridge and Chelmsford, both within an hour from Central London by train. Cambridge is only an hour from London, by train, and can be reached via the M11. Chelmsford offers quick access to London, only 30 minutes by train, and good road connections to the whole of the UK.

Both cities were rated in the top ten best places to live in the UK. Anglia Ruskin’s campuses are right in the centre of both cities, with state-of-the-art learning and recreational facilities available for all students.

Cambridge Ruskin International College (CRIC) has offices in both locations offering everyday help and support. Depending on your study plan, you may spend your entire university life in one location. In some cases you may be required to change campuses, which will give you the opportunity to live and study in two UK cities.
