University of East Anglia foundation scholarships for the 2013-14 academic year for international students

The University of East Anglia (UEA) is ranked in the top 150 universities in the world and in the UK’s top 20! Three large scholarships are available, valued at £13,450 each, for scientific subjects. 

Applications to these scholarships are open to all students holding and unconditional offer into the university’s international foundation programme for the following science subjects:

• General Science,
• Pharmacy, Biomedicine and Health,
• Physical Sciences and Mathematics,
• Mathematics and Actuarial Sciences.

Potential applicants must also intend to progress onto a degree programme within the science faculty at UEA. For the full list of eligible degree programs please “Request Info” from the university page or refer to the university website.

The International Foundation programme lasts for three terms and there are two start dates available: September 2013 and January 2014. The foundation programme is designed for international students from all nations to get accustomed to the British higher education system, the English language (in case they are not fluent) and to the general feel of higher education in Britain. Successful completion of the International Foundation programme (subject to meeting the specified course requirements) leads to direct entry to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree course at the University of East Anglia.
